The Magic Theater Café, a mythical venue for 35 years

In 1988 was born the Double Fond, in the heart of the Marais, on the small place of the Market St Catherine in Paris.
An impossible bet at the time, in which only its creator, Dominique Duvivier, believed: to create a place entirely dedicated to magic art. Today, the Double Fond is known all over the world: it has become an essential place for magic and entertainment with an exceptional and constantly renewed program. But if this place has become mythical, it is first of all because it is the story of a beautiful human adventure: ours… and yours!

The Bar and Terrace

Located on one of the most picturesque squares in Paris, the Double Fond is a unique bar: order your coffee and our famous waiter-magicians will come and offer magic at your table!

The Performance Hall

In the basement, every night, the magicians of the famous Double Fond troupe take turns for performances that are different every time: not the woman cut in half that you’ve seen a thousand times, but skits full of humor and miracles right in front of your eyes, which definitely dust off the image of magic!
The room, very intimate (50 seats), is ideal to create a direct and privileged contact with the audience who is really seated a few inches from the magician.
